Once again, The Biggest Loser show was very interesting to say the least.
This weeks show started off by other teams deciding which team they wanted to send home. It came down to the Pink Team to decide who would be sent home and they chose the Yellow Team.
Then Alyson sprung a surprise on the teams. It was the other 6 Teams against the Yellow Team this week. The Yellow Team had to have a greater percentage of weight loss than the combined percentage of weight loss of the other 6 teams combined.
If Yellow won, they got to send the team of their choice home. If they lost the weigh in, they had to immediately leave the biggest loser campus.
At the weekly challenge, the teams had to cross a balance beam over a pool, grab a peg and insert it into a peg board on the other side. Paul from the Yellow Team kicked some major ass by getting 11 pegs into the Yellow Teams peg board when the other Teams only had 6.
The winning team received letters from home. Since Yellow won, they would receive the letters from home. However, they pulled a surprise and let the other 6 Teams receive letters from home. Ahhhh…a little game play in the air!
It’s been no secret that the Black Team is the team to beat on Season 5 of The Biggest Loser. There were two teams, Blue and Orange, who wanted the Black Team to go home. All that had to be done was for the Yellow Team to come out on top.
The Blue and Orange teams decide to do a little water logging before the weigh in and throw it.
Now when Bob found out that the Yellow Team had won the Challenge and gave the other Teams the letters, he smelled gameplay.
He gave this big long lecture to the 6 teams about Gameplay and how he wanted to know everything that went on. He also went on to say how he hated gameplay..yada…yada…yada…
Sorry Bob, but at the end of the day, it’s still a game and there will be winners and losers. People are quick to forget this is a game.
So at the weigh in, there were big numbers. All except the Orange team who had been turning in huge numbers the previous weeks, they had only something like a 4 or 5 lb weight loss. The girl on the Blue team had a low weight loss as did one woman on the Purple team.
This gave the 6 teams a combined average percentage weight loss of 2.89%.
The Yellow Team did very well and finished with a percentage of weight loss in the mid 3% range.
Unfortunately for the Yellow team, whoever was The Biggest Loser team of the week won immunity. The Yellow team had their sights set on sending the Black Team home, but they had the highest percentage of weight loss for the week and they won immunity. The Yellow team would have to choose another victim.
The Yellow team really didn’t like being selected for elimination. They’re choices of who to send home came down to the 3 teams who chose them for elimination which were the Black Team, Purple Team and Pink Team.
I think the decision was very easy for the Yellow Team as they’ve never really liked the Pink team.
It was obvious in the elimination room that the Pink team of Bette-Sue and her daughter were going home. You’d think they would suck it up and tough it out and be gracious losers like other teams before them. But they didn’t. The griped and complained about the whole thing and how “unfair” it was.
At first, I wanted them to send the Purple team home, but when I saw the way that Bette-Sue and her daughter acted, I was glad to see them go.
See Ya…wouldn’t want to be ya!
So the Pink Team has left the biggest loser campus folks!
