The Biggest Loser Show this week started out kinda cheesy in my opinion. The Teams ran up to the Gym only to find chains and padlocks on the doors. Somehow you knew this was going to be a weird week.

The trainers locked the teams out of the Gym to demonstrate to them that they did not need a Gym in order to stay fit. Really? I think any one of us who ever took PE at school could figure this one out. Our “Gym” at my High School consisted of 2 weight machines in the changing room of the football field. (yes, it was a small school) Our normal PE routine was running, walking, pushups, etc. on the football field.

I have to hand it to Bob, his workouts were very original by having the Blue Team move furniture around the Ranch house. Now that will burn some calories.

For the first time this season, the Blue Team won a reward challenge. I believe the reason for this was that Ken, on the red team, gave up and quit. Oh well, a win is a win.

At the weigh in, neither team posted big numbers this week. The Blue Team needed to lose 30 lbs in order to beat the Red Team. Big Eric was the last person to weigh in and he needed to lose 10 lbs to put the Blue Team on top. He lost 7 lbs instead.

Immediately the jocking began. Amy from Maryland wanted everyone to vote off Eric because he wasn’t putting up the big numbers.  For a while, it looked like she had some support. Sadly, at the weigh in, Marty took the bait and voted for Eric. However, it was Eric who had the last laugh as the guys voted Amy off the show.

To say she was surprised was an understatment.

She has done terrific since leaving the show. She has lost 88 lbs and is very active according to her vidio profile.

I think in the next few weeks you’ll see both teams start posting some large numbers. They’ve been in this plateu like state for a few weeks, which is normal, and their bodies should be adjusting and their metabolism kicking in.

If the Blue Team can manage another weight in win next week, I think the women will vote out one of the guys. They were all ready to throw Ken under the bus this week after he quit and cost them the challenge.

Once they get rid of the guys, I think it’ll be hard for them to win against the Blue Team, which consist of all guys now. I know the winners are chosen by the % of weight loss, but guys can post big weight loss numbers with means increased % lost.

We’ll just have to tune in and see!
