Okay, I finally got around to pulling this weeks The Biggest Loser off of TiVo.

Before I get to my Comments on Week 3 of The Biggest Loser, I liked to tell you about a biggest loser blog I found called, Tommy’s Biggest Loser Blog. This guy has lost 248 lbs in one year! That’s just truly amazing. I wish him all the luck getting down to his goal weight.

Now on to my comments about this weeks The Biggest Loser show.

This was the most exciting week for me. I’m glad that they are changing up the locations and getting the contestants off of the ranch for a change.

It was great to see The Biggest Loser take everyone on a cruise. The ship was Princess’s Cruise Lines ’Sapphire Princess‘. It was even better to see how they reacted when faced with the dreaded Cruise Ship Buffet! I bet if we could have seen the “behind the scenes” scenes, that someone snuck down for banned Fat Food! It’s easy to eat right when your group and your personal trainer is at the table, but we know what happens when no one is looking (just ask Matt about his midnight binge eating last year).

As part of this week’s challenge, the contestants became part of the crew delivering meals to the ship’s guest. What they didn’t know was that those ship’s guest were their own family members. The challenge was a relay event with each contestant taking a platter with a map of the ship and finding the “ships guest” then getting the ticket signed and getting back to their group and switching out.

Well, as usual, red team won the challenge. I don’t know why the blue team can’t seem to win challenges, but I hope they turn it around soon. I’d really like to see them win something besides the weigh in! Well, I actually prefer them to win the weigh in’s more than the challenges.

As winners of the challenge, the Red Team got to spend some time with their family members. It was nice to see that the Blue Team got to spend a few minutes with their family members as well. That would have been pure b.s. if they hadn’t got to say bye to them.

The Blue Team won the weigh in. No one really put up big weight gains this week. That is not surprising considering it’s week 3. Everyone says week 2 is the worse, but it’s been my experience that weeks 3 and 4 are the hardest. After that though, watch out! I bet we’ll see some big numbers in the next two weeks.

The Red Team went into the “Boys vs. Girls” mode at the eliimination ceremony. What I really think happened is that the boys got wind of Pam and Kai’s plan of eliminating the guys and they fought back. This looked like a “Girls vs. Wylie” match. It was a 3-3 split so the Blue Team got to pick who would be eliminated. The chose Nelson. That’s sad but it was a smart move on their part.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I thought Kai calling Ken a “bastard” for voting for Pam was a real class act. (that’s sarcasim if you didn’t recognize it) I haven’t been really crazy about her and now that she’s shown her arse, my initial impressions of her have been confirmed.

Heather is also one who showed her bad side when she got lost during the challenge. I mean geeeez, who goes through a cruise ship hollering, “I need a signature” and pushing ships guest out of the way. I know it’s a challenge, but you should still have enough wits about you to be polite, especially when millions are watching your actions on TV.

I can’t wait for week 4. I hope the blue team keeps up the good work and stays on top. I would like to see Ken get the immunity and then send Kai, Wylie or Heather home, in that order.
