I was sad to see my man Neil be eliminated in the prior show, however, he was a marked man! I figured he could keep losing enough weight to remain above the yellow line, but it wasn’t to be.

So the season 4 finale of The Biggest Loser came down to Bill, Julie, Hollie and Isabeau. All Black Team members! Once again, Jillian has proven that she is the trainer to beat!

As with all Biggest Loser finales, they weigh in those who have been booted off in previous episodes and give the winner $100,000.

Of all the contestants that were booted off, only two looked like they had lost minimal weight. Stephanie and one other. Everyone else had really dropped the weight and Jim, Bill’s twin brother, ended up winning the 100k. To his credit, my boy Neil dropped 211 pounds! Way to go Neil!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Neil is one of the only ones who “got it” that at the end of the day, The Biggest Loser is a game and he tried to play it that way, probably better than anyone before him.

The final four were then paraded on the stage and it was easy to see that Jim was going to be the winner! Julie looked smoking hot, Hollie also looked really good and Isabeau still had a few lbs to go.

Poor Hollie, all during the show she seemed confused and had low self esteem. It’s sad to see a person that way. Hopefully losing this weight will give her a boost in the self esteem department so that she’ll realize it’s not how you look on the outside that gives you self esteem, it’s what is on the inside. Some people just get carried away with what others think of them and let it ruin their world.

The Biggest Loser Season Summary

Overall, I think this was the best season ever of The Biggest Loser. I really loved how they split the trainers up into three groups.

Hopefully they realized what an asset Jillian is and will not let her go again.

Also, replacing the overweight and boring Caroline Rhea of Season’s past with Alison Sweeney. This is probably one of the best moves, if not THE best move NBC has done with The Biggest Loser.

I look forward to seeing The Biggest Loser Couples show starting in January. It will be interesting to see how long Kim last as a trainer.
