I’m really starting off this TOP program bad! I missed yesterday’s weigh in as did my wife due to my mother-in-laws kidney condition.
However, on my house scales, it says I lost 3 lbs. I want to believe that because I do feel like I lost weight. But we all know your body can trick you into believing you lost weight, but the scales don’t lie! So I’ll stay optimistic until I can get back to my TOPS meetings.
Well, due to an early appointment, I was unable to make it to the TOPS meeting this week. However, my wife did attend and posted a 1 lb weight loss.
I was disappointed because I felt like I had lost some weight. Neither of us really got to work out like we wanted, however we are doing better with our diets. Yes, we do “splurge” every once in a while and have something we really want, like a Mexican dinner.
My wife and I had our first weigh in with our newly joined TOPS group.
I was a little reluctant to go, seeing how I didn’t really work out last week. I was just too darn busy and I didn’t do as well as I wanted with my diet.
But I went anyway.
Well, we did it. My wife and I got up early and visited our closet TOPS meeting this morning.
For those of you who do not know what TOPS is, it stand for Taking Off Pounds Sensibly. There is also a group of people who’ve met their weight goals who are called KOPS. Keeping Pounds Off Sensibly.
Here is their website: http://www.tops.org/
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone there was very friendly and made us feel welcomed.
