The Biggest Loser Show Recaps PLUS Helpful Tips To Lose Weight

It seems everyone is talking about Rush Limbaugh’s weight loss. I’ve heard all kinds of reasons why he’s losing so much weight. But from what I’ve heard, the Limbaugh weight loss secret is the work of Quick Weight Loss Centers program.

Stories floating around the Internet says that Rush Limbaugh has lost 90 pounds lately. A friend of mine told me that he heard on his radio show that he’d been following, or using, food and plans from the Quick Weight Loss Centers to lose the extra baggage.

If you haven’t heard of Quick Weight Loss Centers, it’s probably because they are not everywhere. The ones I could find were located in Florida. But when I lived in Houston, it seemed like I remember a couple Radio show host talking about how they were on the program as well. But that was several years ago and who knows what has changed since then.

From what I’ve found out, the Quick Weight Loss Centers is a ready made meal program like Nutri-Systems and some others. According to one story I read, Rush LImbaugh is eating around 1500 calories per day. If he’s working out any amount of time, that low of calorie intake will really shed the pounds of a person. The real test will be whether or not he can keep that weight off!

Their website says they practice a holistic approach to weight loss and more importantly, a weight management plan. They say their plans are professionally managed for safe and quick weight reduction. Sounds good to me if you can keep the weight off afterwards!

Hey, one day maybe The Biggest Loser will have a celebrity show featuring overweight celebrities. In that case, Rush Limbaugh could be a contestant! Then he’ll save some money on those prepared weight loss meals and learn about proper nutrition and exercise!

Then there would be no secret about the Limbaugh weight loss and more people would get on board!

How many of you caught the More To Love premier on Fox? I did but I’m kinda wishing that I hadn’t.

More To Love is a knockoff of the dating reality shows like Bachelorette and The Bachelor. In fact, the producer is the same guy (Mike Fleiss) who produces The Bachelor. However, this show is different in that it uses overweight people as the reality contestants. The show stars a young man looking for “Mrs. Right”. He has 20 overweight females to choose from.

Now at first glance, there is nothing wrong with this. However, one quickly realizes that this is not in the same class as The Bachelor. For example, when I watch The Bachelor, I don’t see them putting the womens size and height on the screen every time they show a contestant!

Also, it seems that this show is setting out to make it seem that overweight women are desperate, lonely and emotional all the time. I could be wrong, but I’ve dated overweight women before I didn’t find that quality in many of them!!

Also, I’m sure Luke is a really nice guy, but he seems just a tad bit of a Player if you know what I mean. The guy is smooth as a babies butt and knows how to push the buttons of these women.

I can’t say that I look forward to many more episodes. I’m afraid of what’s to come in upcoming episodes. I’m not a big fan of either of The Bachelor shows because I believe they are heavily scripted, just like More To Love seems to be.

Maybe if they combined More To Love with The Biggest Loser? Now that would be a show. The contestants would have to work out each week and learn about nutrition. The contestant who lost the most weight woiuld get a date with the Guy and the contestant who lost the least amount of weight goes home!

I’d certainy watch something like this before I watch a whole season of a show like More To Love. I’m sorry, but there’s nothing on this show that’s More To Love!

Wow, has anyone seen the smokin’ hot pictures of Valerie Bertinelli on the cover of People magazine? Valerie’s been one of my favorite women who’ve I’ve always felt was very attractive. But who would have thought that at the age of 48, a 172 pound actress would drop 49 pounds in 9 months and pose in a Bikini on the front of a National Publication? I didn’t, but I’m glad she did!

They should have her on The Biggest Loser as a guest celebrity. Of course, they wouldn’t want her telling everyone that she lost 40 pounds on Jenny Craig…no…no…no!

According to published stories, she lost an additional 9 pounds by working out more (1 hour 4 to 5 times a day) and cutting her daily calories from 1700 to 1200. Now that’s how to lose weight!

It looks like Valerie had the same problem many of us live with. We eat to comfort ourselves. Instead, Ms. Bertinelli has learned to use food to nourish her body instead of using food as a “friend”. Good going Valerie!

She’ll be on Oprah next week. I’m guessing that she’ll be telling her story and pushing Jenny Craig. If you haven’t looked Valerie Bertinelli’s hot bikini pics up yet, I’d suggest you get yourself a copy of People magazine!

Okay, I’m going to come clean and just tell everyone that I kinda liked Vicky from last Season’s The Biggest Loser Show. I thought she was a good gamer playing a game. After all, like it or not that is what The Biggest Loser is…a game. A reality show game.

But I can understand how some of you didn’t like her. But you have to admit it, her game play got her as far as she got.

Now Joelle in my book is a whole different story. Joelle is just a lazy ass. Plain and simple. No motivation that I can see other than being on TV. She should have been sent home a lot sooner than she was.

So who is your least favorite of the two?

The sad thing is that Carla had to go home due to Joelle’s lack of motivation. A lot like when David was the cause of Daniel being sent home.

For the life of me, I don’t know what goes through someone’s mind that they would want to be seen as slacker on National TV. If I had gone through all those Biggest Loser contestants have gone through to be on the show, I’d damned sure would put my best foot forward. Geez, just imagine, everytime someone recognizes you, they’d be thinking “Hey, there’s that loser from The Biggest Loser”.

If Vicky or Joelle isn’t your all time least favorite Biggest Loser, who is? I think this should get pretty interesting.

Okay, how many of you caught The Biggest Loser Couples Premier last night? Now that I’m into my new digs, I might be able to actually watch a Season in real time…or nearly real time. I still love to TiVo the shows so I can fast forward through all the diet commercials. They make me hungry!

The show started off with 11 couples. That’s 22 big ole people. The way this season of The Biggest Loser Couples started off is that the couples would be on the show for one week. At the end of one week, they would have the weigh in. The Couple with the highest percentage of weight loss would get to stay at the Ranch while the Couples who fell below the Yellow line would have to send one member home.

There was one immunity challenge which the Black Team one. So they were safe this week. The rest of The Biggest Loser Couples had to fight it out to stay at the Ranch. The father and son Brown team took the #1 spot. Of course, they were the last ones to be weighed. Do you think this was a coincidence? I don’t. I think The Biggest Loser knew who weighed what and had those guys up last so they could prolong the drama…and show more commercials. Have I told you that I love my TiVo?

At the end of the show, Alyson dropped a little surprise. Of course, by now you know there is always something extra. This season the surprise is that at the end of thirty days, if the other team member is still in the show, then the other team mate gets to come back. I thought that was pretty cool.

I have to tell ya, if you missed The Biggest Loser Couples Premier, you miss some people dropping some huge amount of weight. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a season where so many people lost so much weight the first week!

Once again, it was fun watching Jillian and Bob go at it. I don’t know about you, but over the years I’ve certainly seen a change in both Bob and Jillian. Jillian seems to be more into psycho analysing the Contestants while Bob wants them all to be Zen Masters. You can’t argue with any of their techniques because they do get the Contestants to lose weight.

During the first couple of seasons, I would have chosen Jillian as my trainer. But now, I would pick Bob hands down. Hey Jill, leave the psycho stuff to your Mom and just get on with the training! I can imagine some of the Contestants saying “Hey, I don’t need a friend, I need to lose weight!”

Anyhow, this season promises to be a good one. Maybe even better than previous Season’s. So if you missed the Season Premier of The Biggest Loser Couples, go to NBC and watch it. You won’t be dissappointed.
